Summary: As a Quality Engineer, you will engage in a variety of tasks that ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan and execute testing strategies, performing continuous testing across various application layers, and contributing to the development of automated testing scripts. You will also participate in code reviews and defect monitoring, all aimed at enhancing the overall quality of the software products delivered to clients. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with team members to develop and implement effective testing strategies. - Conduct thorough testing of applications to identify defects and ensure quality standards are met. - Assist in the creation and maintenance of automated testing scripts to improve efficiency. - Engage in continuous improvement activities by analyzing testing processes and outcomes. - Provide feedback and insights during code reviews to enhance code quality. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Utilities Retail. - Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with Functional Testing. - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. - Proficiency in creating and executing test cases and test plans. - Experience with automation tools and frameworks to streamline testing processes. - Ability to analyze and report on testing results to inform development teams. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 1 year of experience in Utilities Retail. - This position is based at our Manila office. Minimum 1 year(s) of experience is required
