IBM z/OS Systems Administrator

Summary: As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure project milestones are met, providing guidance to team members, and addressing any challenges that arise during the development process. You will also engage in strategic discussions to align project goals with organizational objectives, ensuring that the applications developed meet the highest standards of quality and functionality. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices among team members. - Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones. - Support team members in overcoming technical challenges and roadblocks. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in IBM z/OS Systems Administration. - Strong understanding of mainframe architecture and operations. - Experience with system performance tuning and optimization. - Familiarity with backup and recovery procedures for z/OS environments. - Knowledge of security protocols and compliance standards in mainframe systems. Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required
