Advanced Application Engineer

Summary: As an Advanced Application Engineer, you will be responsible for utilizing modular architectures, next-generation integration techniques, and a cloud-first, mobile-first mindset to provide vision to Application Development Teams. Your typical day will involve working with an Agile mindset to create value across projects of multiple scopes and scale. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions. - Lead and mentor junior team members in best practices and coding standards. - Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards. - Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency. - Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to drive innovation. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Cobol Mainframe - Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies. - Experience in designing and implementing complex software solutions. - Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting software applications. - Knowledge of database management systems and data structures. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Cobol Mainframe. - This position is based at our Manila office. Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required
