Cloud FinOps Data Engineer II Job Responsibilities: • Be a subject matter expert on cost and usage data across cloud providers. • Participate in automating, integrating, cleaning, and maturing the Multi-Cloud FinOps team’s processes and data. • Ability to evaluate and tackle complex problems and understand the implications of different business approaches. • Develop data pipelines, reports, and Metrics via automated solutions to centralize import information for consumption within FinOps teams. • Enable a cost conscience culture via data and insights. • Contribute and drive the Multi-cloud FinOps Roadmap. • Participate in product evaluations and some architectural design review sessions to ensure the platform goals are adhered to. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT or analytics; MBA/engineering degree • Cloud admin with certifications in AWS, Azure, GCP or ability to attain within 12 months. • Possess a current FinOps certification, or ability to attain within 6 months. • Required Skills: o Overall 4-8 years of experience IT o 3-4 Years of developing data & analytics products via the cloud o Technical Stack: SQL, Python, Google Big Query , Power BI / Excel o Good Understanding of Cloud Costing and Billing o Knowledge in cloud provisioning with infrastructure as code o Previous experience working in a mature agile environment. o Ability to operate at multiple altitudes, prioritize workload across multiple projects and tasks. o Exceptional social skills, able to establish strong rapport and partnerships at all levels of the organization. o Remarkable analytical skills and the ability to distil sophisticated information. o Ability to work independently in a distributed, fast-paced environment. • What’s in it for you? • You will be part of Accenture’s growing community of technology professionals, continually expanding to provide the best services to our clients. • At Accenture, you will be working on innovative projects, while being exposed to the latest emerging technologies and industry best-practices. • We offer trainings and development programs and courses to help you grow your own tech stack and certifications.
