Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.
Qualifications
Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing dynamic services to identify and solve issues within critical business systems using Veritas NetBackup Administration. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to ensure system functionality and performance.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical issues within critical business systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
- Implement best practices for system performance optimization.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users.
- Document and maintain system configurations and troubleshooting procedures.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Veritas NetBackup Administration
- Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure Administration
- Strong understanding of system administration and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience in implementing backup and recovery solutions.
- Knowledge of ITIL practices for service management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Veritas NetBackup Administration.
- This position is based at our Cebu office.
- A ITIL v4 Foundation and Microsoft Azure Fundamentals education is required.
