Summary:
As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for applying security skills to design, build, and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in Security Architecture Design to ensure the safety and integrity of our organization's information and infrastructure.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Conduct security architecture design reviews and provide recommendations.
- Develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Perform risk assessments and vulnerability testing.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Qualifications
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Security Architecture Design.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and protocols.
- Experience in designing and implementing secure systems and applications.
- Knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
- Familiarity with security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption methods.
- Experience in conducting security audits and assessments.
- Ability to analyze and interpret security logs and events.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Security Architecture Design.
- This position is based at our Manila office.
