Job Description

Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.

Qualifications

Summary: As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve working with IBM System i (AS/400) RPG IV, collaborating with the team to develop and implement solutions that address business needs. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with the team to design and develop applications. - Configure applications to meet business process requirements. - Implement solutions that address business needs. - Perform code reviews and provide feedback for improvements. - Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure proper functionality. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in IBM System i (AS/400) RPG IV. - Strong understanding of software engineering principles. - Experience with software development methodologies and best practices. - Proficiency in Software Engineering. - Solid grasp of database concepts and SQL. - Experience in designing and developing applications. - Knowledge of application integration and deployment processes. - Familiarity with version control systems and code management tools. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in IBM System i (AS/400) RPG IV. - This position is based in Manila. Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required
