Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.

Qualifications

Summary: As a Sybase Database Administrator (DBA), you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Sybase database environment. Your typical day will involve monitoring database performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing database security measures. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Monitor and optimize database performance. - Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions. - Implement database security measures to protect data. - Perform regular database backups and ensure data integrity. - Collaborate with application developers to design and optimize database structures. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Proficiency in Sybase Database Administration (DBA). - Strong understanding of database management systems. - Experience in performance tuning and optimization. - Knowledge of database security best practices. - Experience in database backup and recovery procedures. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 1 year of experience in Sybase Database Administration (DBA). - This position is based in Manila. Minimum 1 year(s) of experience is required
