Job Description

Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.

Qualifications

Summary: As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve working with Linux, utilizing your expertise in Linux system administration. You will collaborate with the team to develop and implement solutions, ensuring the smooth functioning of applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Develop and configure applications based on business process and application requirements. - Collaborate with the team to design and build applications. - Perform system administration tasks for Linux systems. - Troubleshoot and resolve application issues. - Ensure the smooth functioning of applications. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. - Continuously improve application performance and efficiency. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Linux. - Additional Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in AIX System Administration, Oracle Solaris, IBM AIX. - Strong understanding of application development principles and methodologies. - Experience with scripting languages such as Shell or Python. - Knowledge of database management systems, such as Oracle or MySQL. - Familiarity with web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Understanding of networking concepts and protocols. - Ability to troubleshoot and debug applications. - Experience with version control systems, such as Git or SVN. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Linux. - This position is based at our Manila office. Minimum 1 year(s) of experience is required
