Job Description

Summary:
As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for applying security skills to design, build, and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. Your typical day will involve ensuring the security of information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
  • Responsible for team decisions.
  • Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
  • Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
  • Conduct security assessments and identify vulnerabilities in systems and applications.
  • Develop and implement security measures to protect against cyber threats.
  • Monitor and analyze security incidents and respond to security breaches.
  • Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Required Skill: Expert proficiency in IT Service Management (ITSM) Security Operations.
  • Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with Service Management Governance.
  • Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
  • Experience in conducting security risk assessments and vulnerability assessments.
  • Familiarity with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewalls.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret security logs and events.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.


Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) Security Operations.
  • This position is based in Manila.
