As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve providing dynamic support and ensuring the smooth functioning of the systems.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Provide application support and troubleshooting for critical business systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address any potential issues.
- Document and maintain support processes and procedures.
- Assist in the implementation of system enhancements and upgrades.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Required Skill: Proficiency in Google Compute Engine.
- Strong understanding of server virtualization tools.
- Experience with Google Cloud Compute Services.
- Knowledge of application support and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with system monitoring and performance optimization.
- Ability to document processes and procedures effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and collaboration abilities.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 1 year of experience in Google Compute Engine.
- This position is based in Manila.
