Security Engineer

Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for applying security skills to design, build, and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. Your typical day will involve working with Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) platforms, ensuring their smooth operations and detecting and responding to security incidents. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Ensure smooth operations of Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) platforms. - Detect and respond to security incidents in a timely manner. - Analyze security logs and alerts to identify potential threats. - Implement security measures to protect systems, applications, and data. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security policies and procedures. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Proficiency in Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) Platform Operations. - Strong understanding of security principles and best practices. - Experience in incident response and handling security incidents. - Knowledge of network security protocols and technologies. - Familiarity with security assessment tools and techniques. - Experience in vulnerability management and patching. - Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements. - Ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) Platform Operations. - This position is based in Manila. Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required
