Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and solving issues within critical business systems. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving software problems, ensuring the smooth operation of applications, and providing support to end-users.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software problems within critical business systems.
- Ensure the smooth operation of applications and provide support to end-users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions.
- Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Document and maintain technical procedures and user guides.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Required Skill: Proficiency in Network Security Operations.
- Additional Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Palo Alto Networks Firewall Operations.
- Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with Network Architecture and Design, Data Center Networking Technologies Operations.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Experience in troubleshooting and configuring network security devices.
- Knowledge of network protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, VPN, and VLAN.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Network Security Operations.
- This position is based in Manila.
