Software Development Engineer

Summary: As a Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, coding, and testing multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Your typical day will involve working with Microsoft ASP.NET, performing maintenance, enhancements, and development work. You will also have the opportunity to work with DevOps, API Management, and Microsoft Azure App Service to ensure smooth operations and efficient deployment of applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. - Perform maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. - Troubleshoot and debug application issues to ensure optimal performance. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in software engineering. - Assist in the documentation of technical specifications and user requirements. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Microsoft ASP.NET. - Additional Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevOps, API Management, Microsoft Azure App Service. - Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices. - Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN. - Knowledge of relational databases and SQL. - Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs. - Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex software applications. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Microsoft ASP.NET. - This position is based in Cebu. Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required
