Job Qualifications
Summary:
As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for applying your network security management skills to design, build, and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. Your typical day will involve ensuring the security of information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Stay updated with the latest network security management trends and technologies.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify potential security issues.
- Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures.
- Monitor network activity to detect and respond to security incidents.
Qualifications
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Network Security Management.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Experience with security assessment tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of encryption algorithms and secure communication protocols.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards such as GDPR and PCI DSS.
- Should have minimum 3 years of experience in Network Security Management.
