Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.
Summary: As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve working with Unix Shell Scripting, developing and maintaining scripts to automate tasks and improve system efficiency. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Develop and maintain Unix Shell scripts to automate tasks and improve system efficiency. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design application solutions. - Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to implement application features and functionality. - Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure application quality and reliability. - Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and issues in a timely manner. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Proficiency in Unix Shell Scripting. - Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies. - Experience with JavaScript, Python (Programming Language), and SQLUnit. - Knowledge of database systems and SQL queries. - Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. - Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Unix Shell Scripting. - This position is based in Manila. Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required
