Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.
Qualifications
Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing support and resolving issues within critical business systems. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and solving problems related to multiple components of these systems.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues.
- Investigate and troubleshoot application and system errors.
- Provide technical support to end-users and resolve their queries.
- Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Document and maintain support processes and procedures.
- Assist in the implementation of system upgrades and enhancements.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Required Skill: Proficiency in Japanese.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in application support and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of SQL and database management.
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and incident management processes.
- Understanding of cloud technologies and platforms.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Japanese.
- This position is based at our Cebu office.
