Security Engineer

Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for applying security skills to design, build, and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. Your typical day will involve ensuring the security of information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions. - Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines. - Monitor and analyze security incidents and events, and respond accordingly. - Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Infrastructure Security Management. - Strong understanding of network security principles and technologies. - Experience in implementing and managing security controls and technologies. - Knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST. - Familiarity with security assessment tools and techniques. - Experience in incident response and handling security incidents. - Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Infrastructure Security Management. - This position is based at our Manila office. Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required
