Job Description

Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

Qualifications

Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and providing support for software-related problems, ensuring the smooth operation of the applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Provide troubleshooting and technical support for software-related issues. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve application problems. - Analyze system logs and identify potential issues. - Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. - Document and maintain technical procedures and user guides. - Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends. - Assist in the testing and deployment of software updates and patches. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Proficiency in Server Operating Systems x86. - Additional Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Solaris. - Strong understanding of software troubleshooting and problem-solving. - Experience in analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues. - Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. - Familiarity with technical documentation and user guide creation. - Ability to stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends. - Experience in testing and deploying software updates and patches. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 1 year of experience in Server Operating Systems x86. - This position is based in Manila. Minimum 1 year(s) of experience is required
