Job Description

Analyze, design, code and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Perform maintenance, enhancements and/or development work.

Qualifications

Summary: As a Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, coding, and testing multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Your typical day will involve performing maintenance, enhancements, and development work using your expertise in Customer/1 Solutions. You will collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality solutions and contribute to key decisions. Moreover, you will be the go-to-person for any prepay and billing related questions. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs. - Design, develop, and test software components using Cobol Mainframe and Customer/1 Solutions. - Perform maintenance and enhancements on existing application code. - Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. - Support the team in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. - Document technical specifications and user manuals. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Customer/1 Solutions. - Additional Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Cobol Mainframe. - Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies. - Experience in analyzing, designing, coding, and testing software components. - Knowledge of database management systems and SQL. - Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. - Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex software applications. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Customer/1 Solutions. - This position is based in Manila. Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required
