The work: Summary: As a storage and backup specialist, you will be responsible for providing ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving issues related to backup and recovery systems, ensuring the smooth operation of configured services across various platforms. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Ensure the smooth operation of backup and recovery systems. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to backup and recovery systems. - Collaborate with other teams to ensure the proper functioning of configured services. - Contribute to key decisions regarding backup and recovery systems. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Storage and Backup and Recovery Systems. - Strong understanding of storage, backup and recovery concepts and techniques. • Storage systems o Dell Isilon o Dell ECS o EMC VMAX o PMAX o VMware VSAN • Backup Systems o Netbackup o Datadomain o Cohesity - Experience with A&D Cloud Infrastructure & Security Platforms. - Solid grasp of data munging techniques, including data cleaning, transformation, and normalization to ensure data quality and integrity. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Backup and Recovery Systems. - This position is based in Manila. - A Backup engineer education is required.
