Scope:
Millions of travelers around the world search for hotels on Google every day. Google Travel Ads enable our partners (Hotels, OTAs, Metas, etc) to display hotel rates and availability on Google Search and Google Maps, so that travelers can easily find, research and book a hotel room. With Performance Max for travel goals, the Travel Ads team has launched a new simple, automated ad solution perfect for Hotels with small marketing teams who want to market to Google users across all Google surfaces.
As a seller for PMax for travel goals, your primary objective is to activate hotels and drive new business for Google. You will do sales outreach to a mix of cold and warm leads to activate hotels, located in select markets. You will email and / or call hotels, pitch the product’s value proposition, and answer clients’ questions in order to activate their PMax for travel goals campaigns. Pre- and post activation, you will collect clients’ product feedback and share it with the product team to drive product improvements. You will also ensure that client campaigns meet their performance expectations in order to prevent churn.
Responsibilities:
Conduct sales outreach to Hotels in select markets, including cold calls and inbound sales in response to warm leads
Track sales pipeline and metrics
Collect feedback from Hotels (both the ones who sign up, as well as the ones who decline) and share with Product Team
Provide feedback regarding overall sales process to go-to-market team
Identify and provide recommendations to improve end to end sales and performance
Skills:
At least 3 years of sales experience, with cold calling experience
Knowledge of Google Ads products, preferably in the Travel vertical
Strong communication and organization skills
Strong ability to grasp product concepts, and synthesize Hotel feedback
Entrepreneurial, creative, tenacious, curious, driven and highly collaborative
Customer centric, displays empathy, and is quality focused Attention to detail in accurately recording information clearly and concisely
