The work:
As a AWS Snowflake Data Warehouse Administrator, you will be responsible for owning the integrity and governance of systems, ensuring best practices for delivering services. Your typical day will involve developing, deploying, and supporting infrastructures, applications, and technology initiatives from an architectural and operational perspective, in line with existing standards and methods of delivery.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• - Responsible for team decisions.
• - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• - Manage the integrity and governance of systems.
• - Ensure best practices for delivering services.
• - Develop, deploy, and support infrastructures, applications, and technology initiatives.
• - Adhere to existing standards and methods of delivery.
• - Monitor and maintain the operational performance of systems.
• - Identify and resolve technical issues and incidents.
• - Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems and data.
• - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
• - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology operations.
• - Contribute to the development and implementation of operational strategies.
• - Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
• - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Here’s what you’ll need:
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related fields.
• (At least 2-3 years’ of experience in administering and maintaining IT infrastructure (on-premises and virtualized environments)
• Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and principles.
• Experience in designing and implementing Snowflake data models.
• Proficiency in SQL and query optimization.
• Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting Snowflake queries.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience in data integration and migration projects.
• Experience in data governance and data quality management.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• AWS Cloud / Azure Cloud Certification is a plus
• Experience with Windows &/or Linux Server support is a plus
• Strong understanding of IT operations and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with network protocols and security.
• Ability to work with various software solutions/vendors/brands.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• This position is based in Manila
