The work:
As a Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining the core database infrastructure, developing MS-SQL queries and procedures, creating custom reports, and modifying ERP user forms. Your typical day will involve designing databases, ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance, and providing ongoing technical support and maintenance for production and development systems and software products.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Maintain the core database infrastructure, including developing MS-SQL queries and procedures.
• Create custom reports and modify ERP user forms to enhance organizational productivity.
• Design databases and ensure their stability, reliability, and performance.
• Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance for production and development systems and software products.

Here’s what you’ll need:
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related fields.
• (At least 2-3 years’ of experience in administering and maintaining IT infrastructure (on-premises and virtualized environments)
• Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration.
• Strong understanding of database management principles and best practices.
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of databases.
• Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies for databases.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database issues.
• Familiarity with database security and permissions management.
• Experience in database design and implementation.
• Proficiency in SQL scripting and query optimization.
• Good to have skills: Expert proficiency in AWS &/or Azure Administration
• AWS Cloud / Azure Cloud Certification is a plus
• Experience with Windows &/or Linux Server support is a plus
• Strong understanding of IT operations and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with network protocols and security.
• Ability to work with various software solutions/vendors/brands.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• This position is based in Manila
