The work:
As a VMware Virtualization Administrator, you will be responsible for owning the integrity and governance of systems, ensuring best practices for delivering services. Your typical day will involve developing, deploying, and supporting infrastructures, applications, and technology initiatives from an architectural and operational perspective, in line with existing standards and methods of delivery.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Manage and support VMware virtualization administration.
• Support Windows and Linux OS.
• Ensure the integrity and governance of systems.
• Develop, deploy, and support infrastructures, applications, and technology initiatives from an architectural and operational perspective.
Here’s what you’ll need:
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related fields.
• (At least 2-3 years’ of experience in administering and maintaining IT infrastructure (on-premises and virtualized environments)
• Required Skill: Extensive VMware Support experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of VMware Virtualization Administration.
• Experience in supporting Windows and Linux OS.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Knowledge of best practices for delivering services. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of hardware/software support and implementation.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting tools and techniques.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
• Experience in implementing security measures to protect VMware systems.
• The candidate should have minimum 4-5 years of experience in VMware Virtualized System Administration.
• This position is based in Manila.
• Working Experience or background knowledge in Cloud systems administration is a plus.
