Security Engineer

Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will apply your expertise in Infrastructure Security Vulnerability Management Operations to design, build, and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. Your typical day will involve providing services to safeguard information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats. Roles & Responsibilities: - Lead the implementation and management of infrastructure security vulnerability management operations, ensuring the identification, assessment, and remediation of vulnerabilities across the organization. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security controls, policies, and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. - Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address potential security weaknesses and vulnerabilities in systems and applications. - Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents, conducting investigations and implementing appropriate remediation actions. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in infrastructure security and vulnerability management, integrating innovative approaches for enhanced protection against cyber threats. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Infrastructure Security Vulnerability Management Operations. - Strong understanding of security controls, policies, and procedures. - Experience in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. - Knowledge of security incident response and investigation techniques. - Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to infrastructure security.
