EMC Storage Area Network (SAN) Administration

The work: As a EMC SAN Administrator, you will be responsible for providing ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, implementing technology at the operating system-level, and ensuring the smooth operation of cloud server, network and other "as-a-Service" areas including IaaS & PaaS. Roles & Responsibilities: • Expected to perform independently and become Backup and Recovery SME. • Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. • Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. • Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products. • Implement and maintain Cloud and on-premises Data Center backup and recovery systems. • Support cloud capacity management and cost optimization implementation. • Manage Linux and Windows servers. Manage on-premises data centers, bare-metal server configuration, cloud systems, and virtualized environments. Provide L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting. • Assist in configuring services running on various platforms. • Stay updated with the latest technology and security trends and advancements. Here’s what you’ll need: • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related fields. • (At least 2-3 years’ of experience in administering and maintaining IT infrastructure (on-premises and virtualized environments) • Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Storage Architecture. • Strong understanding of block-level storage. • Experience with Storage Area Network support. • Proficiency in supporting and maintaining Dell hardware. • Experience with storage optimization and performance tuning. • Knowledge of data integrity and security best practices. • Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions. • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues. • Expert proficiency On-premises Data Center Infrastructure Administration • Experience in implementing and maintaining Cloud and on-premises Data Center backup and recovery systems. • Experience in managing Linux and/or Windows servers. • Experience in managing on-premises data centers, bare-metal server configuration, cloud systems, and virtualized environments. • Strong understanding of IT operations and infrastructure. • Experience in IT On-premise / Cloud Configuration and Design. • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. • Knowledge of hardware and software installation and configuration. • Familiarity with network protocols and security. • Ability to work with various software solutions/vendors/brands. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Good to have: AWS Cloud / Azure Cloud Certification • Good to have skills: AWS Lambda support experience • Good to have skills: Working experience in DevOps and languages/scripting including Ansible, Terraform, Python. • Good to have skills: Experience in working with highly scalable infrastructure. • Experience in support cloud capacity management and cost optimization implementation • This position is based in Manila What’s in it for you? • You will be part of Accenture’s growing community of technology professionals, continually expanding to provide the best services to our clients. • At Accenture, you will be working on innovative projects, while being exposed to the latest emerging technologies and industry best-practices. • We offer trainings and development programs and courses to help you grow your own tech stack and certifications.
