Summary: You will apply your security skills to design, build, and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in Security Threat Hunting to provide services that safeguard information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Create monthly Threat Hunting plan
- Perform Ad hoc Threat Hunting as requested (IOC-based or TTP-based)
- Perform Threat hunting via conducting log analysis, configuration analysis and security control analysis utilizing MS Sentinel and MS Defender for Endpoint and other available Security Tools and Applications.
- Create detailed reports and present to Client’s security leadership
- Coordination with SOC, Threat Intelligence Team and other stakeholders for critical finding
- Review and feedback on Threat Hunting Reports
Qualifications
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Required Skill: Strong proficiency in Security Threat Hunting.
- Additional Must To Have Skills: Experience in designing and implementing security measures to protect enterprise systems and data.
- Additional Good To Have Skills: Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
- Experience in conducting security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures.
- Familiarity with security technologies and tools, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, and common security vulnerabilities.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in Security Threat Hunting.
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field, along with a proven track record of implementing effective security measures.
- This position is based in Manila.
