Job Description

Utilize modular architectures, next-generation integration techniques and a cloud-first, mobile-first mindset to provide vision to Application Development Teams. Work with an Agile mindset to create value across projects of multiple scopes and scale.

Qualifications

Summary: As an Advanced Application Engineer, you will be responsible for utilizing modular architectures, next-generation integration techniques, and a cloud-first, mobile-first mindset to provide vision to Application Development Teams. Your typical day will involve working with COBOL, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering impactful solutions. Roles & Responsibilities: - Lead the development and deployment of advanced applications using COBOL and associated technologies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement modular architectures and next-generation integration techniques. - Provide vision to Application Development Teams, utilizing an Agile mindset to create value across projects of multiple scopes and scale. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in COBOL and associated technologies, integrating innovative approaches for sustained competitive advantage. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in COBOL. - Additional Must To Have Skills: Experience with mainframe technologies. - Additional Good To Have Skills: Knowledge of cloud-first and mobile-first development, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices. - Strong understanding of modular architectures and next-generation integration techniques. - Experience with designing and implementing complex applications. - Solid grasp of software engineering principles, including software design, testing, and deployment. Additional Information: - The candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in COBOL. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in software engineering, computer science, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions. - This position is based in Manila. Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required
