Application Developer
Responsibilities:
- Data Migration Developer is responsible for all activities related to detailed design, development, and unit testing of data migration jobs during the implementation project. DM developer will use ADF & PL/SQL for data migration & reconciliation activities.
- Design, develop, and implement data migration solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and SQL.
- Collaborate with project managers, data architects, and other stakeholders to understand data migration requirements and objectives.
- Create and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources to target systems.
- Develop SQL scripts, stored procedures, and queries to support data migration and integration tasks.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency throughout the migration process.
- Perform data mapping, data profiling, and data validation to identify and resolve data quality issues.
- Monitor and optimize data migration processes to improve performance and efficiency.
- Document data migration processes, workflows, and technical specifications.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for data migration issues and incidents.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data migration, ADF, and SQL technologies.
Requirements:
- Lead developers (min. 7 years)
- Junior developer (3-5 years)
- Proven experience in data migration projects, specifically using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Strong in PL/SQL.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and functions.
- Experience with ETL tools and data integration techniques.
- Knowledge of database design, data modeling, data mapping, and data profiling.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, PowerShell scripts, Azure Storage Accounts, Azure SQL
- .Net skills required for VC document migration / any enhancements for Recon/Report UI
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong team player with professional mindset.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- BSc degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or relevant field
- Note that candidate must be able and willing to work in office
- May require candidate to travel to Singapore to support CDR/Cutover time (including shift timings)
