Security Engineer

Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for applying security skills to design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. Your typical day will involve providing services to safeguard information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats using your expertise in ISO 27002. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design and implement security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data. - Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate potential security risks. - Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards based on ISO 27002. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security regulations and standards. - Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams on security-related issues. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expertise in ISO 27002. - Strong understanding of security principles and best practices. - Experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools. - Knowledge of security regulations and standards such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR. - Familiarity with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection solutions. Additional Information: - The candidate should have 1 year of experience in ISO 27002. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering effective security solutions. - This position is based at our Manila office.
