TECHNICAL SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVES:
• Perform problem resolution function for escalated trouble tickets via network configuration changes and replacement of network components
• Refer trouble tickets to appropriate Tech Support workgroups based on complexity of the problem to assist with problem resolution
• Interface with field techs to confirm alarm has been resolved
• Perform impact analysis for the scheduled network changes to identify the service and customer impact
• Collect and process resource data to be used for proactive analysis
• Perform performance monitoring & change identification
• Trend and predictive analysis on network elements to facilitate proactive problem mitigation or resolution.


NETWORK PROCESSING ASSOCIATES:
• Build the customized migration script(s) / MOP that will establish and implement the physical configuration of the network elements and the architecture of the subtending DSLAM
• Complete pre-maintenance checks, validate of the condition of the existing and required components, verify the MOP details, execute the MOP and its associated scripts, perform post cut maintenance checks on the condition of the various components and assignments and delete of any old and unused configurations
• Work closely with the NOC, engineering, field technicians to oversee and execute planned network maintenance work on access nodes
• Act as an internally facing point of contact to escalate issues and communicate network status
TECHNICAL SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVES: • Graduate of any Bachelor’s degree preferably with experience in the Telco industry • Undergraduates with the required relevant work experience are welcome to apply • Knowledge of IP routing protocols, Ethernet, ATM, DSL technology, CISCO or networking • Strong problem-solving, multi-tasking and analytical skills • Good English communication skills • Willing work on a shifting schedule and on holidays as needed. NETWORK PROCESSING ASSOCIATES: • Graduate of any Bachelor’s degree preferably Computer Science or Engineering • Undergraduates with relevant work experience are welcome to apply • Strong knowledge and experience on CISCO and Networking • Knowledge of IP routing protocols, Ethernet, ATM and DSL technology • Experience with fixed-access technologies like DSLAMs and Ethernet for Broadband Access • Ability to learn new technologies quickly • Vendor certifications/experience in Calix, AFC, Adtran or Redback a plus • Good communications skills • Willing to work on a shifting schedule and on holidays as needed
