Job Description

• Understand the objectives of the business and develop Machine Learning (ML) models that will help in achieving them, along with metrics to track their progress • Manage available resources including data, software and hardware to meet deadlines • Solve a given problem through the use of ML algorithms and rank them based on success probability • Visualize and explore data to gain an understanding of it, then identify the differences in data distribution that could affect performance of the model • Supervise data acquisition process if the initially collected data is not enough. Improve the quality of the dataset through data cleaning • Define the preprocessing or feature engineering to be conducted on a given dataset and define data augmentation pipelines • Train models and tune their hyperparameters. Analyze the errors of the model and design strategies to overcome them. Deploy ML models to production

Qualifications

• Must have BA/BS in a technology, engineering, computer science or related discipline • Proficiency with a deep Learning framework such as TensorFlow or Keras • Proficiency with Python and Basic libraries for Machine Learning such as scikit-learn and pandas • Expertise in visualizing and manipulating datasets • Proficiency with OpenCV and familiarity with Linux • Ability to select hardware to run an ML model with the required latency • Advanced math skills (linear algebra, Bayesian statistics, group theory). Strong written and verbal communications Preferred: • Concepts of computer science and software engineering • Data analysis and feature engineering. Metrics involved in ML • ML algorithm selection, and cross validation, Mathematics and Statistics
