Job Description

We are currently looking for Bilingual Java Developer who knows the development life cycle, facilitate unit testing, assembly testing, integration testing and UAT phases, fix bugs during system deployment and post production support. This position will require to write technical support emails in response to developer’s questions about how to develop applications for smart devices and require judgement about when to escalate developer queries to the next level of support


Qualifications

- Fluent in English and Japanese. Preferably N2 but not lower than N3 in JLPT
     - Very strong, effective written and oral communication skills
     - At least 3 years experience in a tech support, support engineering, or development role preferred
     - Knowledge of Android OS and Mac OS desired
     - Hands-on development skills with Java, .Net, and SAP any module, both front-end and back-end support, JavaScript, JSON, Nodejs experience is a must
     - For Front end, knows speed optimization, script concatenation and minification. Experience in implementing responsive design.
     - Knows the functions of other tools
     - like GIT either by GUI interface or using CLI
     - or Sonarqube, Cobertura for code quality tools and test coverage, etc
     - Knows test framework or automation testing
     - Knows how to interpret the functional design to really understand the read between the lines vs literally following it.
     - Excellent soft skills and customer service skills are a must
     - Must proactively communicate status across various teams and stakeholders, including technical and non technical partners
     - Must be able to context-switch and manage multiple partners in parallel across various implementation stages
     - Experience in analyses, troubleshooting, problem solving and project management
     - Good command of basic internet and database technologies
