Business & Integration Architecture Sr. Manager (Multiple Positions) (Accenture LLP; Irving, TX): Define, analyze, solution, and document the business requirements and processes for Accenture or our clients' program/project specifications and objectives. Develop an integrated view of the enterprise using a repeatable approach, cohesive framework, and available industry standard techniques. Gather and analyze information to define project specifications and requirements, and review design specifications. Identify functional changes for new or existing features to meet the business requirements. Write functional specifications, use cases, and requirements that describes the necessary system changes or new system features. Work on solution, strategy, and functionality, and demonstrate the functional solutions to business, IT client, and the development team. Provide functional support to development team in using the functional specifications and requirements to develop technical solutions. Provide solutions to complex business problems, which are implemented by the team. Act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments. Manage large teams and/or work efforts. Be involved in setting strategic direction to establish near term goals for area of responsibility. Interact with senior management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters. Have latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related field, plus 7 years of experience (of which 5 years must be progressive post-baccalaureate) in the IT consulting industry.
• Of the required experience: 5 years of experience must be in each of the following: IT software project management in utilities industry; system implementation for utilities companies in at least one of the following domains: Enterprise Asset Management, Plant Document Management, Environment Management, Risk Management, Plant/Mines Monitoring, or Executive dashboards and reporting; providing IT support in utilities industry including troubleshooting IT issues, defining and implementing ITIL processes for IT support, and maintaining CMDB (Configuration Management Data Base); and, managing a team of IT resources performing application development and support; and, 3 years of experience must be in each of the following: Developing work-breakdown structures and project plans utilizing Microsoft Project; working with utilities clients to develop and manage utilities-project implementation plan; and, translating client's business requirements; and, 2 years of experience must be in each of the following: Cloud implementation projects, including Planning, Analysis, and Migration of on-premise applications to public or hybrid cloud; automating code deployments across one or more of the following cloud providers: Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud; utilizing AWS-EC2, VPC, S3, ECS, Cloud formation, and Lambda; and, developing solutions using Ansible, Chef, and Puppet automation tools.
• Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
