The role of the test automation/performance engineer (test engineer) is to design, build, test and deploy effective test automation and performance testing solutions. To fulfill this role, the automation/performance test engineer applies appropriate automation and performance testing technologies to meet the short- and long-term goals of the testing organization.

US Citizenship Required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a complimentary discipline
  • US Citizen required
  • 3 years of hands on automated test coding experience in creating functions, methods and programs
  • 3 years performing performance testing on applications
  • 1 year of experience with Selenium
  • 2 year of experience with testing tools and techniques that are commercially available or that are OpenSource such as UFT/QTP, Geb, Cucumber, and Spock
  • 2 year of experience using and managing change management tools, Git, Bitbucket, or Subversion, and build server software (Jenkins/Hudson/Bamboo)
  • 2 year of experience with Functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing phases

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Pega
  • Knowledge of Behavioral Drive Design (BDD)
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Understanding of Agile methodology
  • Must be fully competent to work under general direction on complex projects usually on specific assigned projects, issues and problems
  • Candidate Must be a team player and work closely with other automation developers to build/support automation Framework
  • Candidate should have experience on automation result analysis and generate automation result reports
  • Candidate should have ability to learn new techniques and technologies quickly

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
