Job Description

Technology Architectures professionals demonstrate end-to-end Technology Architecture skills, covering all T.A. aspects (Execution, Development and Operations); have experience in blueprinting, designing, estimating, implementing, testing and assessing end-to-end technology architecture and solutions; are typically certified by the MTA Certification program.

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:
Analyzes and solves problems that are lower complexity and may be routine in nature, requiring varied responses depending on the situation. 
Interacts with peers within Accenture before updating supervisors. Likely has some interactions with non-management levels at the client and/or within Accenture. 
Receives minimal instruction on daily work tasks and a moderate level of instruction on new assignments.

Decisions impact own work and may impact the work of others. 

Individual contributor and/or oversees a small work effort and/or team.

Develop application and component strategy in line with business strategy for one or more programs. Guide and support client’s technology journey, helping them achieve their objectives by utilizing New IT. Set and implement security and data direction for coding work. Provide technical expertise and guidance to production support staff. Design, build, assemble and configure application or technical architecture components using business requirements. Build and leverage reusable code and libraries for future use. Partner with testing team to ensure applications/components are fully functional and fix any defects.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 months experience with Angular JS
  • Ability to travel

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
  • Minimum of 1 year experience developing code components in JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3
  • Minimum 1 year experience with Single Page Application projects
  • Minimum of 1 year experience, technical application design skills, interpreting functional requirements into technical designs for web applications
  • Minimum 6 months experience with responsive design and grid frameworks for cross-browser compatibility such as Bootstrap or Foundation
  • Experience using Typescript
  • Experience working at an advertising, design, consulting agency, or a web startup
  • Experience on mobile or web development teams
  • Knowledgeable of UI Design methods and testing
  • Experience with eCommerce and content management systems (Hybris, AEM, etc.)
  • Advanced experience in JavaScript including:
    • JavaScript MVC / MVW frameworks (Angular, Backbone or Ember)
    • JavaScript UI frameworks such as React
    • JavaScript linting via JSLint or JSHint
    • JavaScript unit testing frameworks (Jasmine, Mocha + Chai or Karma, etc.)
    • JavaScript API development using Node.JS
  • Working experience with version control (SVN and GIT)
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Working knowledge and understanding of multi-platform/multi-browser compatibility (IE 8+, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari) on Mac, PC, tablets and mobile devices
  • Knowledgeable of accessibility guidelines (W3C)
  • Knowledgeable of the MEAN Stack and/or FULL Stack
  • Contribution to Open Source and a working GitHub account
