IT Operations professionals support infrastructure operations and/or manage delivery for IT production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreements.

 

Job Description

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:
Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems.
Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor. May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture.
Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance.
Decisions often impact the team in which they reside.
Manages small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.

 

Provide detailed assessment of existing solutions and infrastructure to migrate to the cloud. Deliver migration strategy based on detailed analysis and implement application and data migration activities. Implement scalable, high performance hosting solutions that meet the need of today's corporate and digital applications using both private and public cloud technologies. Deliver legacy infrastructure transformation and migration to drive next-generation business outcomes. Provide team leadership in managing work streams, on call rotations, and an escalation point for technical and operational concernsMentor less experienced staffServe as the primary interface between the program and the client's application teams, business, and end-user communityResponsible for the coordination of all activities and resourcesManagement and Support of Architecture, Design and ManagementResponsible for the coordination of all wave activities and resourcesOrganize and bundle applications for migrations through the waves T-, T0, T+Ensure activities are completed on time and track issues through the build, migrate and post migration stepsIssue ManagementCommunicate status to executivesContinue plan revisionsPerform post-migration analysis of lessons learned for process improvementDemonstrate commitment to Service Excellence
 

Basic Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in  Windows or Linux Server Administration experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Windows or Linux performing OS Administration
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working on an enterprise level operations team
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Public Cloud administration i.e. AWS, Azure, Google.
