Job Description:

As part of the Corporate Security Program, the Security Operations Center (SOC) provides Accenture with a central point of contact for physical security technology needs for all employees and assets globally. The SOC is tasked with proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to Accenture personnel, physical assets, and operations as well as assisting with the operation of all Accenture’s physical security technology.
 
The Corporate Security System Support Senior Analyst works under the guidance of the Corporate SOC Manager in a 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) and is responsible for assisting company personnel in concerns that pertain to safety and security for corporate locations around the globe. The individual will work in a SOC environment or virtually and will have primary responsibility for managing access control credentials and identities and ensuring quick repair of security equipment. 

Key Responsibilities

Overall

  • Receive requests from employees who need any type of assistance with electronic security equipment, have security issues or process or system questions. 
  • Create, provision, print and send access cards across North America. 
  • Work access card requests to add, change or terminate access.
  • Troubleshoot low level equipment and credential issues and mitigate if possible.
  • Work tickets for equipment issues and dispatch integrators to repair.  Follow through to completion.
  • Establish access control reports per access managers requests and corporate standards.
  • Work with sites to reduce excessive false alarms.
  • Administer Health Checks on video and access control enterprise managed systems.
  • Perform various access control admin tasks weekly, monthly, quarterly. 
  • Pull video for investigations.
  • Monitor and operate security systems to include access control and CCTV, along with environmental monitoring and fire alarm systems.
  • Respond quickly and initiate action related to access control alarms, fire alarm systems, and environmental monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Notify, assist, and direct external emergency personnel and internal resources as necessary.
  • Dispatch security officers or law enforcement personnel for alarm response, calls for service and emergency situations.
  • Execute protocols and communicate at all levels across the globe to employees, site security leads, Safety & Security staff or contracted officers as needed 

Role Requirements:

  • Must be able to work on a shift rotation to include evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays, etc.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a Security Operation or Command Center role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Some College/Military Service or Certificates around Life Safety and Security
  • Certifications
  • Supervisory Experience
  • Working knowledge and experience with video management systems, physical access control systems, incident reporting software, Physical Security Information Management systems, fire alarm systems, and mass communication systems
  • Proven experience with access control and video systems
  • Must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Ccure9000, Milestone or Genetec CCTV Systems
  • Bilingual - Spanish
  • Research and critical thinking skills for identifying, collecting, and evaluating data in order to draw logical and actionable conclusions.

  • Providing information to Monitoring Analysts as requested

  • Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
