Creating high-quality and innovative government services requires social services agencies to develop agile operating methods and a more focused social investment model. As the needs of citizens continue to become more complex, all social services agencies need to work together to deliver personalised and effective care when it matters the most.
The social services sector in New Zealand is transforming and continues to evolve to better meet the needs of vulnerable people. But many acknowledge that there is more that can be done to support this evolution including: increased use of analytics to better understand people; putting humans and at the heart of everything; and building on current technology capability to meet future demand.
