James Slessor is managing director for Accenture Police Services across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America (EALA). He brings more than 12 years industry experience to his role supporting policing, justice and security organizations to improve operational performance and achieve greater efficiency.
Mr. Slessor also contributes to Accenture’s Police Center of Excellence in Madrid which draws together the latest international insight to build new processes, technology solutions and drive innovation within policing.
Mr. Slessor has most recently been leading Accenture’s engagement with Police Scotland as they seek to create a new national operational policing system to support the new national Scottish Police Service. He has worked extensively across the UK Criminal Justice System with organizations including the London Metropolitan Police Service (New Scotland Yard), the Home Office, Ministry of Justice, and public safety agencies such as the Serious Organized Crime Agency (SOCA) and National Police Improvement Agency (NPIA). He also supports a number of Accenture’s policing engagements across the Nordics, Spain, Middle East and South Africa.
A recognised expert in his field, Mr. Slessor has written extensively in leading industry publications on a range of policing topics including the use of social media and police information management.
He joined Accenture in 1999 and holds a first class Bachelors of Arts with honours in geography from the University of Bristol. He lives in London, UK.
