Summary:
As a Web Developer, a typical day involves designing, constructing, and thoroughly testing web-based applications that support various components of a website. The role includes editing and updating site content to ensure relevance and accuracy. Additionally, documenting technical designs and specifications is a key part of the daily routine. Continuous research to integrate the latest content and improvements into websites is also essential, ensuring that the web presence remains current and effective. Collaboration with different teams to align web functionalities with project goals is a regular aspect of the workday.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to optimize web application performance and user experience.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Cobol Mainframe.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with IBM CICS (Customer Information Control System), IBM Db2, Virtual Storage Access Method (VSAM).
- Strong knowledge of mainframe environments and their integration with web technologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within legacy systems.
- Experience in maintaining and enhancing existing web applications built on mainframe platforms.
- Familiarity with database management and transaction processing in mainframe contexts.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Cobol Mainframe.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
