When it comes to competing in the Volvo Ocean Race, Accenture found oceans of possibilities for the female crew, Team SCA. A range of digital services was delivered both onboard and online. For the crew, information on weather, routing and maneuvering was fed real-time throughout the race. That allowed them to shave off time and boost performance. On land, digital was used to precisely target fans of Team SCA and provide them with information to track performance and even interact with the crew.
