What I do

I am an engineer focused on creating meaningful and useful software. One project, I enjoyed working on a lot, was diverse and international where the team was located all around the world. The learning opportunities are maximized in these type of environments because you learn to see things that might seem obvious from different perspectives. I also subconsciously started understanding a whole different language which was quite exciting.

A day in my life

A day at Accenture is quite eventful. It consists of a lot of techs, communication and planning. Usually, I start my day by prioritizing on the things that need to be done. After that, I grab a cup of coffee and join a status meeting with my team. This meeting is held remotely since we are quite a diverse team located in multiple places. I also have spontaneous meetings with the team throughout the day regarding the project. However, most of my time is spent on designing, implementing and testing software which is my passion at the end of the day.

 

I appreciate all the interactions with the people. I value creativity, teamwork and diversity and I believe that these values apply all across Accenture. I am also a major advocate of innovation which you can see and feel at Accenture. There’s a very innovative and creative atmosphere at Accenture that will automatically boost your creativity.

 

I tend to usually relax reading a classic novel while sipping on an ice-cold latte. When it comes to literature, I especially appreciate any literature that has metaphysical perspectives.

My advice

Be passionate about learning. Technology is ever-changing, so we need to be aware of the change and adapt as necessary. Passion towards learning is a major aspect to accomplish success in every aspect of life.
