Join Our Supply Chain & Operations Team: Consultant – Energy, Oil & Gas, and Renewables
Do you want to drive transformation within supply chain & operations for some of the most impactful Energy companies? At Accenture, our Supply Chain & Operations (SC&O) team is looking for experienced Consultants to lead and support innovative projects within the energy industry. We help our clients overcome critical challenges and build efficient, resilient and sustainable supply chains and operations. This includes supply chain strategy, sourcing & procurement, planning, logistics and operational efficiency.
Your Role: As a Management Consultant in Supply Chain & Operations, you’ll be part of a team solving challenges for leading companies in the Energy, Oil & Gas and Renewables sectors. You’ll lead project workstreams, offer strategic insights, and provide client with impactful deliverables, all while growing your skills and expertise.
Key Responsibilities include:
Manage projects and workstreams: Conduct analysis, coordinate and lead resources, and ensure quality in project execution
Drive innovation: Apply digital tools and new technologies like AI and analytics to supply chain and operations
Facilitate workshops and deliver insights: Conduct workshops and presentations that provide strategic recommendations to clients
Be a trusted advisor: Guide clients through the energy transition and help them adapt to changing industry dynamics
Support business growth: Identify opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and contribute to proposal work for future projects
Recent project examples include:
Development of new strategy and operating model for future operations within oil & gas
Establishment of strategic partnerships with key equipment suppliers through performance-based contracts, sharing risk and rewards to improve performance for oil and gas operations
N-tier supplier and risk analysis with the aim of safeguarding supply chain for large oil & gas capital projects
Development and implementation of supply chain analytics tool for oil & gas capital projects
Digital Procurement Transformation Program: Implementation of SAP Ariba and Icertis Contract Lifecycle Management System to streamline the end-to-end Source to Contract process, assure compliance by design, and provide data-driven contract management insights
Implementation of Celonis Process Mining platform for Vendor Invoice Management Process

Job qualifications:

A master’s degree with strong academic results in a relevant field, such as business administration, finance, industrial economics, supply chain management or similar

2-5 years of experience in consulting and/or project related work, with a focus on management/strategy consulting or technology advisory

Relevant experience within the Energy, Utilities, and/or Renewables industries

A commercial and value drive mindset, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities alongside Accenture Managers and Senior Managers

Experience with collaborating in diverse teams and thriving in creative problem-solving environments

A methodical, analytical and systematic approach

Strong relationship-building abilities and excellent communication skills in English and a Scandinavian language
In this role, you will report to the Supply Chain & Operations Lead in Norway, with your workplace located in either Stavanger or Oslo.
