Our Supply Chain & Operations practice is part of Accenture Strategy & Consulting and focuses on key topics for CEOs, COOs, Supply Chain and Procurement Chief Officers. Accenture’s Supply Chain & Operations team is a world leading practice with a local presence in the Nordics and Norway.

Accenture has more than 100 Innovation Centers around the world, each with its unique industrial, technological and strategic focus. The Innovation Center in Barcelona is the Supply Chain Center of Excellence. At these centers we bring together experts across all functions of the company in one single place, contributing to our incredibly agile offerings.

The team’s expertise ranges from Demand Planning and Forecasting, Sourcing and Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics and Fulfilment and Operations Management (i.e. Lean Six Sigma). We work at the intersection of business processes and technology across relevant Nordic industries.

We are experiencing heavy growth and are searching for excellent business-driven Consultants with experience in Sourcing & Procurement-, Supply Chain-, Optimization-, Sales and Operations Planning-, Operating models-, and within Transportation/Logistics.

Typical projects are often set out to:

  • Design Supply Chain strategies (incl. procurement) and Operating Models
  • Improve and transform Supply Chain Operations
  • Design and implement Sourcing and Procurement strategies to improve profitability
  • Design and improve/optimize Planning, Logistics and Distribution, Warehouse functions

Examples of recent cases in Norway:

  • Defining a customer centrist Supply Chain and network structure for a leading Nordic e-commerce and retailer
  • Building a global Logistics Network including the sourcing of 3rd party logistics for a leading global brand
  • Consolidating volumes across 8 companies to increase group buying power and reduce costs, through Strategic Sourcing of direct materials leveraging leading eRFX software
  • Implementing lean principles and optimizing inventory for an automotive franchise
  • Implementing joint Supply Chain process throughout a group of 11 companies, by leveraging a newly developed digital solution across the group

What will you do?

  • You will lead and manage project teams to ensure timely delivery of value-driven recommendations, knowledge transfer and effective advisory. As project lead you will also:
  • Ensure project work and deliverables are on-track and of the expected quality
  • Provide expertise and insights to our clients to help them build the strategic road-map for their transformation agendas
  • Secure the professional development and well-being of other team members while in a project setting
  • Build and nurture client relationships, and identify and drive client opportunities
  • Work across industries at the intersection of business, operations and technology

Qualifications

Who are you?

  • You have 6+ years of working experience within Supply Chain Management, preferably as a Strategy or Management Consultant, or from leading operational improvement projects in large organizations. Additional experience from positions such as Sourcing Manager, Logistics Manager/planner, Manufacturing Manager or Business Developer is beneficial

  • You have a proven track record from leading larger projects (team of several resources), including reporting to C-suite and steering committees

  • You manage stakeholder’s expectations and can secure a safe and healthy working environment

  • You master Microsoft Office technology for analysis and presentations

  • You can communicate effectively and can put ideas and findings into the right context and to the right audience, both written and verbally (English and a Scandinavian language)

  • You hold a M.Sc. in logistics, engineering or business with excellent academic results
