Management Consulting professionals in Accenture take responsibility for organizational change and business transformation. As a Management Consultant in the Energy area, you will work across a variety of projects for our clients in the Oil & Gas and New Energy solutions industry. Accenture currently deliver some of the largest and most exciting projects in the Energy industry and now we are look for new colleagues in Oslo and Stavanger to help us meet the demand for our services.


As a Management Consulting Practitioner you will deliver on Process Improvement projects in the areas of Asset Management and operations within conventional and/or New Energy solutions. By actively nurturing your network and with the ability to identify opportunities, you will also be active in creating new opportunities with our clients. Your role can typically include:

  • Providing actionable analyzes and insights to our clients
  • Supporting transformation journey to realize client value
  • Acting as a project manager or expert in our projects
  • Developing our client relationships with major clients in the Nordics
  • Shaping and selling projects
  • Contributing to developing our competence as a team
  • Contributing to the development of our business towards the Energy Consulting practice in the Nordics
  • Participate in and support our global Energy network of energy professionals and Global Energy Consulting practice
  • Delivery to our clients in the core of their operations and travel to client locations onshore must be expected.

About you and your background

  • You have 3-7 years of relevant professional experience and/or consulting experience, typically within Asset Management operations and/or projects in the Energy industry
  • You have deep contextual understanding of Energy and Asset management, both from business and IT point of view
  • You connect well with IT and technology thorough your understanding of Digital technologies and solutions within Asset Management
  • You are familiar with one or more of the following areas: Asset management and/or operations experience from the Energy industry, Asset Strategy, Asset Investment Planning and Maintenance Policies, Enterprise Asset Management solutions and Project Portfolio Management Solutions, Asset Analytics and advanced maintenance strategies/condition-based maintenance, Asset modelling and information governance
  • With the desire to continually learn and improve own knowledge and understanding you are proactive, pragmatic and are able to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment 
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent skills in a Scandinavian language and English, both written and oral.
  • You have a relevant master degree within science or economy with good academic results. Applicants with bachelor degrees combined with extensive experience within the relevant field will also be considered.
