Tonje Sandberg is part of the Accenture Nordic leadership, leading two of our prominent Nordic Client Groups. She leads our Nordic Client Group within Chemicals & Natural Resources, Energy and Utilities practice. She is also the Nordic Client Group lead for Communications & Media, High Tech and Software & Platform. Tonje served as country managing director for Accenture Norway between 2015-2021.
Tonje started her career at Accenture in 1991. She has over 30 years of leadership experience, leading multiple service and client groups in Norway and the Nordics. She has over 15 years of experience from the health and public sector including Nordic health lead. She also holds over 10 years of experience form Communication, Media and Technology.
Tonje is chairman of the board of Accenture Norway and board member of IKT-Norge and the consultant board at Virke. She has been named one of Norway's top female leaders in technology by Abelia, and under her leadership, Accenture won the 2016 and 2021 Oda Award for the organization`s diversity and inclusion work.
Tonje holds a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from BI Norwegian Business School (1991).
