Kevin Julian is a senior managing director leading the Life Sciences practice in North America. In this role, he is responsible for growing the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical products, wholesale, CRO and consumer health business sectors. Additionally, Kevin leads Accenture’s global Accelerated Research & Development (R&D) Services group, where he is responsible for industry solutions that leverage Accenture’s business dimensions in strategy, consulting, technology, digital and operations to help life sciences clients bring products to patients faster.

Since joining Accenture in 1989, Kevin has worked predominantly in the life sciences industry focusing on delivering innovative solutions and complex programs [to help clients improve their business performance. Before leading the R&D group, Kevin was responsible for growing Accenture’s global life sciences sales portfolio. Under his leadership, the firm established an industry-leading position in technology and business process outsourcing in life sciences.

Kevin has a bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and lives in Malvern, PA with his wife and two children.

Tom Lehmann is a Managing Director in Accenture’s global Accelerated R&D Services group serving the Life Sciences industry. He has 20 years of experience with Accenture providing a range of consulting, technology, and outsourcing services to the Life Sciences industry across a wide range of clients.

Tom currently has responsibility for Accenture’s North American Life Sciences R&D business and is focused on delivering solutions to a diverse client portfolio, including: strategic R&D advisory services, management and technology consulting, systems implementation of industry leading technology solutions, digitally enabled R&D solutions, and clinical, regulatory & pharmacovigilance operational services.

He has an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a BME from Villanova University. Tom lives in the Philadelphia area with his family.

Dr. Petra Jantzer is a managing director in Accenture’s global Accelerated Research & Development group. She is responsible to optimally support Life Science companies in EALA (Europe, Africa, and Latin America) in bringing innovative medicines to patients.

Petra has more than 20 years’ experience in R&D, both as a consultant in the (bio)pharmaceuticals sector and as a researcher. Petra combines profound R&D knowledge, deep business process understanding, and more than a decade of C-level counseling experience to help clients transform their businesses.

Petra recently joined Accenture from McKinsey & Company, where she had been a tenured Partner in the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Products Practice. Petra covered a broad range of strategic, operational, and organizational R&D topics advising leading Pharma players in the industry.

Petra holds a PhD in Immunology and graduated with an honors degree in molecular biology from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich. Petra and her husband live with their two sons in Zurich, Switzerland.

Geoff Schmidt is a managing director in Accenture’s global Accelerated R&D Services group. He is responsible for our Platforms business – envisioning, creating and taking to market novel technology platforms that enable our client’s operations from Research through Clinical Development and Pharmacovigilance to Commercial.

Geoff has been with Accenture since 1996 and has spent his entire career working with Life Sciences clients. He initially specialized in architecting, implementing and running global application development and maintenance organizations and since then has held roles of increasing responsibility in Sales, Client Account Leadership, as well as leading Accenture’s global R&D Technology business.

He has Bachelor degrees in Management and Computer Science from State University of New York (SUNY) Geneseo, and lives in the Philadelphia suburbs with his two children.

Brad Michel is a Managing Director in Accenture’s global Accelerated R&D Services group. He is responsible for driving Accenture’s strategy, offerings and services across the Life Sciences R&D functions, from research through late stage development, and into the early stages of commercialization, launch and patient services. Prior to this role, Brad had responsibility for some of Accenture’s largest R&D client accounts.

Working in Life Sciences his entire career, Brad has a broad background in business advisory and management consulting, IT strategy and solution delivery, and outsourcing operations across Pharmaceutical R&D. His focus is on helping clients drive transformation through innovation, operational efficiency, and cost savings.

He has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Villanova University, with minors in Business and Computer Science. He lives in suburban Philadelphia with his wife and three sons.

Joe Donahue is a managing director with Accenture’s global Accelerated R&D Services group, where he leads the life sciences Research practice. He is responsible for growing the practice which helps our clients improve their discovery, research and preclinical functions.

Joe joined Accenture in 2016, having worked in life sciences and healthcare his entire career, partnering with global customers in biotech, large pharma and medical institutions to leverage internal and external data, analytics and technology to help them improve research processes and patient outcomes.

Prior to joining Accenture, Joe gained more than 25 years of executive level entrepreneurial and Board experience in global life sciences and technology companies.

He has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with a concentration in Computer Science from Villanova University. He lives in Central New Jersey with his wife and six children.

Ian Shafer is a managing director in Accenture’s global Accelerated R&D Services group, responsible for the Clinical Development practice. He is responsible for developing the domain’s overall strategy, offerings, and industry research focus.

Ian has been with Accenture since 2006 and has worked in clinical development for the entirety of his career, bringing together Consulting, Technology, Operations and Digital services to help our clients improve their clinical development organization, operations, and functional capabilities.

Prior to joining Accenture, Ian worked at a biopharmaceutical company in the clinical operations group, as well as for a software company focused on the capture and management of clinical data.

He has a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology from the University of California at Santa Cruz, and lives in Tabernacle, NJ with his wife and son.

Seth Levine is a managing director in Accenture’s Accelerated R&D Services group leading its global Pharmacovigilance business. He is responsible for growing the business which helps our client’s bring safer drugs and safety information about those drugs to market faster. In this role, Seth and his team bring together management consulting, innovative technology and operations services to deliver a step-change improvement in productivity and quality.

Seth has been with Accenture since 1987, focused in Life Sciences for 27 years. He has deep experience in technology implementation and business process outsourcing (BPO) services. He led our Life Science BPO group for eight years and also had responsibility for delivery quality across North America for several years and a multi-year role developing our Life Science Cloud platform for clinical.

He has a degree in Psychology and Decision Sciences from College of Arts and Sciences and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He lives outside of Philadelphia, PA with his wife, two of their five children, and his incredibly wonderful grandchild.

Nicole Cohen is a managing director in Accenture’s Accelerated R&D Services group. She is the head of the Management Consulting practice globally, shaping and implementing consulting solutions as well as customizing solutions for R&D clients which bring the best of Accenture from across its business dimensions: Strategy, Consulting, Technology, Operations and Digital.

Nicole has broad experience in designing and delivering transformation programs in R&D, from functional strategy definition, organizational and functional design to implementations of significant change. In addition to working with various life sciences companies, she is also active in the development of thought capital as an author and as executive sponsor of Accenture’s industry perspectives content in R&D.

Recently Nicole was honored as a 2015 Luminary by the Healthcare Businesswoman Association (HBA) and recognized as an individual who has made a significant impact on the healthcare industry. She also serves as a role model within Accenture, actively mentors others, exhibits dedication to the industry’s focus on human health, and consistently demonstrates exceptional leadership.

Nicole graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering. She lives in Wayne, PA with her husband and children.

Rob Saiter is a Managing Director in Accenture’s global Accelerated R&D Services group. He has 18 years of experience with Accenture, primarily in the life sciences industry, providing consulting and technology solutions to clients engaged in research and development, enabling them to bring products to patients faster.

Rob leads Accenture’s R&D Technology Services practice which has been noted as an industry leader by market analysts. He is responsible for growing and expanding the business that uses technology to improve our client’s business. In addition, he manages relationships with key clients and external vendors.

He has a BS in Management from Texas A&M University and an MS in Organizational Psychology from the University of North Texas. Rob lives in Dallas, TX with his family.
