IDC Marketscape analysis and buyer perception identifies Accenture is an IDC MarketScape Salesforce.com Implementation Services Leader worldwide.
According to the Worldwide Salesforce.com Implementation Ecosystem 2015 Vendor Assessment, buyers rate Accenture very highly for its ability to leverage resources globally and its ability to meet the project timelines. IDC named Accenture on top in terms of both current capabilities and future strategies in this IDC MarketScape. IDC rates "the future business strategy" of Accenture as its greatest strength particularly around its growth strategy. Accenture also showcases strength against its competition when it comes to marketing strategy.
Accenture has more than 5,000 skilled Salesforce consultants globally —including the most certified consultants by a factor of more than two times the next-closest competitor. In the last year, Accenture has worked with more than 250 unique client organizations to deliver enterprise solutions based on Salesforce and has six Fullforce Master Certifications.
The IDC MarketScape evaluation is based on a comprehensive framework and set of parameters expected to be most conducive to success in providing implementation services around Salesforce solutions during both the short term and the long term. A significant component of this evaluation is the inclusion of buyers' perceptions of both the key characteristics and the capabilities of these providers.
IDC evaluated 12 Salesforce implementation providers in the report based on a comprehensive and rigorous framework that assessed each vendor on approximately 27 capabilities and 22 attributes. This evaluation highlights the factors expected to be the most influential for success in the market in both the short term and long term.

IDC MarketScape vendor analysis model is designed to provide an overview of the competitive fitness of ICT suppliers in a given market. The research methodology utilizes a rigorous scoring methodology based on both qualitative and quantitative criteria that results in a single graphical illustration of each vendor’s position within a given market. The Capabilities score measures vendor product, go-to-market and business execution in the short-term. The Strategy score measures alignment of vendor strategies with customer requirements in a 3-5-year timeframe. Vendor market share is represented by the size of the circles. Vendor year-over-year growth rate relative to the given market is indicated by a plus, neutral or minus next to the vendor name.
